After the 1990s, the branch of the family which, through Matilde Pianciani, inherited partial ownership of the Villa complex, managed with great dedication and effort to buy the entire property. In the following years, careful and important restoration works took place and were finally completed only very recently. 

Thanks to some public funding, the structure of the major part of the complex was reinforced and improved using period materials and anti-seismic devices. In agreement with the Fine Arts Superintendency of the Umbria Region, a large part of the Villa's original plan was reinstated in order to preserve the architectural unity.  Most of the decorations were also restored. All renovated sections are now attractively arranged, with all the amenities for comfortable modern living.
